Bio
Roman Flautist, born in 1998. He graduated from the A. Casella Conservatory in L’Aquila with a degree in flute (under Luigi Tufano) and in Chamber Music. He then attended numerous masterclasses with internationally renowned flutists and continued studying for three years with Adriana Ferreira. His artistic experiences began during his training years, where he often had the opportunity to perform as principal flutist, starting with the symphony orchestra of the Conservatory, particularly for external projects, including a notable performance of the opera “The Magic Flute,” organized by “I Cantieri dell’Immaginario.” From 2019 to 2022, he participated in the “Comporre Oggi” festival as a member of the “Exegéma Ensemble.” This was his first real encounter with modern music, leading him to explore and perform both “repertoire” pieces and very recent compositions by composers such as Caterina Calderoni, Bettina Skrzypczak, and Francesca Virgili, with the composers present in the hall. He continues his journey in contemporary music, taking part in multiple performances of “In C” with the dance company “Sasha Waltz & Guests” (including one at the RomaEuropa Festival), and in 2023, he co-founded Bottega Sonora Ensemble with his colleague and friend Federico Santori. Currently, he teaches at a middle school, continues to perform with BSE, and collaborates with both established and emerging composers, such as Fabio Massimo Capogrosso, occasionally recording flute parts for some of his soundtracks.
